Just because summer is over, doesn't mean you have to stay indoors!

We all know and love the benefits of living in a lake community in the summer – lazy beach days, playing tennis or beach volleyball, boating, kayaking and paddle boarding to name just a few. With the first snow fall just days behind us, and the lakes not yet frozen for ice skating, many of us are feeling resigned to the fact that winter is upon us and just want to curl up in front of the TV.

Not so fast! Don’t forget the beauty and tranquility that a lake community can offer this time of year. Take a half hour walk (with or without your kids) along the lake front and see it like you have never seen it before. Watch the seagulls swim in the frigid waters and look for food and the geese take off and land…
